Penwell Gabel was a wonderful choice for our family with planning a funeral for a parent. The staff was compassionate and so helpful with every step of the planning and the day of our services. Our programs and prayer cards were perfect and the professional staff helped with setting everything up and all the flower deliveries. They were very organized and made our day stress free. The drivers for the casket and our family were very professional and kind. We were very impressed and happy with the service we received and will choose them again!

During the loss of a loved one a family needs someone who can help them with the final arrangements and all the emotions that happens when you lose someone. The staff at Penwell-Gable were so kind, patient and cordial. They were attentive and listened to my requests. They explained what services were available without any pressurized sales tactics and were diligent in the whole process with my brother's funeral. Robyn was amazing and so kind, thoughtful and a blessing to work with.

My husband and I used Penwell-Gabel for my mother's cremation and memorial service, including contracting for flowers and food through them. From start to finish, we were treated with professionalism and kindness. Every single person we encountered through the process was responsive and warm. The prices were transparent and about what I anticipated. We never felt pressured. The memorial service went so smoothly; I never had to worry about a thing. Losing my husband was the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through, and Penwell-Gabel went above and beyond in caring for him and for our family. We chose a simple goodbye, they treated him with such dignity—he looked amazing, and it was clear they took great care in every detail. John, in particular, was our liaison and truly made an unbearable time easier. His compassion, communication, and guidance meant more than he’ll ever know. I cannot say enough good things about Penwell-Gabel. I pre-planned a funeral for a family member who was going to a nursing home. They were knowledgeable on what was needed and how to work with the planning for Medicaid. Their knowledge was a very big help. During the funeral and burial, their help and expertise was appreciated. I really could not have had any better help or service.
